2LMN, Inc. is actively seeking a Survey Field Technician to join our growing team in Central, Ohio. In this role, you will take part in a variety of tasks to support our land surveying operations, including field data collection and equipment operation. As a valued member of the survey crew, you will contribute to accurate data gathering and successful project execution. We welcome applicants with or without prior surveying experience.
Candidates should possess the following qualifications to be considered:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1-2 years of experience in a field survey environment (Preferred).
- Proficiency with modern survey equipment, including GPS and total stations.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and terrains.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Work related tasks include but not limited to:
- Assist in performing land surveys for boundary, topographic, construction, and control surveys.
- Use GPS equipment, total stations, and other survey instruments to collect field data.
- Assist in processing survey data and creating maps, plats, and other related documents.
- Maintain accurate records, notes, and sketches of field data.
- Set up and operate surveying equipment and ensure proper calibration.
- Collaborate with other survey crew members and office staff to complete projects efficiently.
- Travel to various job sites, work outdoors in all weather conditions, and follow safety protocols.
