2LMN was tasked to provide design services for the ODOT safety funded project within the Village of Gambier in Knox County Ohio. The project will convert the existing intersection at SR 229, SR 308 and CR project has several constraints, including; being located immediately adjacent to the scenic Kokosing River, substantial grade differences between SR 229 and SR 308 and the existing bridge along Laymon Road which will not be modified or realigned for this project. Significant stakeholder coordination which includes local government agencies as well as Kenyon College provide the project with unique characteristics such as utility relocation as well as some aesthetic modifications.
